No
matter how many pairs of eyes look at it, all printed books go to press
with a few mistakes included. This book is likely no exception. Simple
(albeit embarrassing) spelling mistakes happen, and we will post errors needing
to be clarified here.
If you come across mistakes, please let
us know. Email
. Thanks.
• Chapter
2, pg.29 Handing
Off "refine" should
read: "refined" (yes,
we do know our tenses).
• Chapter 2, pg.34 first
parenthetical sentence: "(If
the internal team is producing pages with the design team is delivering only
templates, the style guide may be necessary before launch.)"
Should read:
"(If the internal team is producing pages, but
the design team is delivering only templates, the style guide may be necessary
before launch.)"
• Chapter 3, pg.47 Examples of Additional Client Survey Questions box question 2 on the lefthand side should read
"How will you encourage site visitors to return to your site?"
not "How will your ... ?"
• Chapter 3, pg.63 in diagram 3.7 In the sentence following Audience C, "gotomedia" should be "Company XYZ."
• Chapter 3, pg.72 in the sidebar 3.11 "understand
the total cost" is repeated. Please ignore. Thank you for your understanding.
• Chapter 3, pg.75 Project Management Applications box "Gant chart," used three times in the box, should read "Gantt chart."
• Chapter 4, pg.95 in the
small box that reads "Content
management is tricky." There is, unfortunately no longer a valid URL for the referenced information.
• Chapter 4, pg.116 left hand column Phase 2 Check-off List, the last header should read: "User-View" not "Page-View".
Oops.
• Chapter 6, pg.144 What This Chapter Covers box "Idenfitying" should read: "Identifying".
• Chapter 7, pg.193 sidebar we refer to <www.webmama.com/error404- advice.htm>. Except
that this page is now a 404! Nice irony, we know. We are trying to find out
what happened to the page.
